She was predeceased by: her parents, Emerson and Dessie; her grandparents, Oscar, Anna Blakeley, Elmer and Ollie Jane Moss; her stepparents, Elmer Anderson and Doris Moss; her sisters, Jane Ann Moss and Anita Peters; her siblings-in-law, Bob Peters, Stanley Short and Sally Moss; and her brother Dick Moss.

She is survived by: her family Oakford; her daughters, Diane Short of West Frankfort, Barbara Lakin (Tyler) of Kansas City and Susan Short of Champaign, Illinois; her grandchildren, Sara Jaeger (Chris) of Chesterfield and Michael Short (Brittany) of Mt. Vernon, Illinois; her great grandchildren, Lakin, Bennett, Julia, Siah Jaeger, Blakely and Lincoln Short; her brother Ron Moss of Greenview, Illinois; her sister-in-law Barb Moss of Petersburg, Illinois; and her niece Missy Ramsey. She is also survived by several cousins and many nieces and nephews.
