Bob leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Bob’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Bob will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles R. Smith and Delores Crisup Smith. He is survived by: his son Brian Smith; and his stepchildren, Brandon Vulgamott, Michelle Knowles and Shawna Klaus. He is also survived by seven step-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Graceland Fairlawn Funeral Home (2091 N Oakland Ave, Decatur, IL 62526). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
