We announce the death of Terry Chapman of Oakley, Illinois, who passed away on June 4, 2026, at the age of 77. Terry will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Chapman and Helen Chapman (Rexroad); and his siblings, Darrell Chapman, Kathy Davis and Connie Smith.
He is survived by: his children, Robert Chapman (Debbie Bilbry) of Decatur, IL and Sandy Ann Davis (Ira) of Decatur, IL; and his grandchildren, Holly Russell, Les Russell of Dennis Chapman, R. J, Race Chapman and Blake Chapman. He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
Memorials in Terry's honor may be made to the donor's choice and will be accepted by McCracken-Dean Funeral Home who is assisting the family.
