He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Peak and Hazel Peak (Ferris); his siblings, Robert Peak, Edward Peak, Edna Hughes and Dorothy Chilton; and his nephews, Mike Peak, David Peak, Ernie Chilton, Eddie Peak and Chris Peak.
He is survived by: his wife Jerilyn Peak; his children, Sheila Peak Dittberner (Stephen), Glen Peak (Beth) and Jeffrey Peak; his grandchildren, Taylor Guillette (Ryan), Hunter Dittberner and Travis Peak; his great grandchildren, Blaire Hughes, Harper Hughes and Rowan Hughes; and his siblings, Clifford Peak (Carol) of Oakwood and Reva Lund (Ariz) of Prescott Valley.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Sunset Funeral Home - Oakwood (105 E South Main St, Oakwood, IL 61858). A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions can be made in his honor to the Vermilion County Animal Shelter.
