He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Edward and Mary Elizabeth Denhart (Cox); his brother Melvin Denhart Jr.; and his son Timothy Denhart. He is survived by: his sons, Gary Denhart (Tara) and Scott Denhart (Leslie); his grandchildren, Laura, Madison, Samuel, Kammin, Darcy, Gus and Cleo; and his siblings, Robert Denhart, Judy Howland and Cindy Dean.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Kruger Funeral Home (10 E Williams St, Danville, IL 61832).
Richard "Dick" Elvin Denhart, 84 of Oakwood, passed peacefully on Tuesday, September 8, 2026 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana.
