He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Miller (Jo Boy) and Maymie Miller (Flynn); his siblings, Joseph Harry Miller, Margaretta Miller, Otis Miller and John (Betty Miller); and his siblings-in-law, Judy Varvil, Arthur "Sonny" Francis and Bill McCleave.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Ann Miller of Oblong, Illinois; his daughter Dawn Jacobs (Mark Wysocki); his grandson Alec Jacobs (Meaghan Shook); his great grandchild Octavia Jacobs of Oblong, Illinois; his sister Catherine McCleave of Oblong, IL; and his sister-in-law Sharon Miller of Palestine, IL. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
