He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar George Kraus and Rosena Saloma Hahn Kraus; his stepmother Mary L. Ochs Lamkin Kraus; his siblings, Oscar Kraus (Shirley Stone), Cletus "Clete" Kraus, Marcella Menke (Bernard) and Rosetta Mary Kraus; his brothers-in-law, Paul Long and Earl Bloom; and his stepsisters, Susie Lamkin, Judy Lankin, Patricia McIntyre, Sandra Leist and Reta Garren.
He is survived by: his wife Bonnie J. Kraus of Oblong; his children, Dawn Ochs (Douglas "Doug") of Ste. Marie, Timothy "Timmy" Kraus of Oblong and Kenneth "Kenny" Kraus (Casey) of Oblong; his grandchildren, Taylor Ochs, Osten Ochs, Riley Kraus, Heidi Kraus, Allie Kraus and Kane Kraus; his sisters, Rosena Cortelyou of Bloomington, IL, Mary Ellen Block (Tom) of Pearl City, IL, Teresa Long of Jerseyville, IL and Dorothy Bloom of Olney, IL; his siblings-in-law, Nancy Kraus of Clay City, IL and William "Bill" Herr (Margie) of Effingham; and his stepbrothers, James Lamkin (Cheryl) and Joe Lamkin (Judy) of Mustang, OK. He is also survived by his wife, children, grandchildren, family and friends.
