With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James D. Davids of Oblong, Illinois, who passed away on December 10, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayne Davids and Alma Lois Davids (Turner); his daughter Lisa Rose Davids; and his siblings, Barbara Ann Davids and Dennis Lane Davids.
He is survived by: his children, James Dwaine Davids, Jr. of Robinson, Illinois, Julie Denise Carter (Rodney) of Oblong and Jill Diane York (David) of Oblong; his grandchildren, Cory Wayne Davids, Richard Michael Shelton (Amy), Matthew John Hetzler, Lucas Wayne Davids-Badger, Tracy Marie Pepmeier (Jared), Tiffany Elaine Jones (Chris) and Kyle David York; Stanley Ray Davids of West Union, Illinois.. He is also survived by sixteen great-grandchildren.
