She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Benjamin and Dessie Pearl Slocum (Allen); her brother Richard Carey "Rich" Slocum; her niece Amy Lynn Slocum; her brother-in-law Larry Henry; her nephew-in-law Dan Thomas; and her close friend Anice Robinson.

She is survived by: her siblings, William K. "Bill" Slocum (Becky) of Lebanon, Tennessee and Phyllis Henry of Oblong, Illinois; her nieces and nephews, Pam Henry, Jodi Wiman (Jeff), Carrie Sablone, Joe Henry (Nikki) and Bill Henry; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Kristin Scott (Brandon), Ian Sablone (Jordan Dill), Raegan Henry and Tristan Sablone; Kamber Scott and Riggins Scott. She is also survived by several extended family members and many dear friends.
