He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph William Hurla and Cleopha Margaret Hurla (Tillisch); and his wife Judi. He is survived by: his children, Kyle Hurla (Rebecca) of Hebron, Kentucky and Kimberly Garrett (Tim) of Tonganoxie, Kansas; his brother Francis Leroy Hurla (Mary Kay) of Tonganoxie, Kansas; and his caregiver Nancy Elizabeth Arnold of Oblong. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
