It is with sadness that the passing of Lois Ann Smith of Oblong, Illinois is shared. Lois Ann, born on June 2, 1934 in Stoy, Illinois, passed away on August 14, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ira Correll and Belva Correll; her husband Larry; her daughter Sue Helderman; her grandsons, Stephen Cooper and Jakeb Smith; her brothers, William (Carolyn Correll), Clair (Shirley Correll), Jerry Correll, Merl Correll and Ellis Correll; and her in-laws, Earl and Anna Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Roberta Wilcox, Cindy Cooper (Michael), Terri Inboden (Michael), Earl Smith (Michael), Brian Smith (Kim) and Dennis Smith (Kristina); her brother Jim; and her sisters-in-law, Susan Correll and Mary Correll. She is also survived by several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
