She was predeceased by: her parents, Darrell Wayne and Ruby Smith (Hays); her stepmother Esther Simon Smith; her husband John; her siblings, Robert Smith, Shirley Lingle and Beverly Mullins; and her in-laws, Lawrence and Sarah Neeley.
She is survived by: her children, Scott Neeley (Victoria) of Centreville, VA, Shari Neeley of Geneva, IL and Brett Neeley of Oblong; her grandchildren, Nathaniel Neeley (Taylor) of Richmond, VA and Caitlin Wilde (James) of Sterling Virginia; her great grandchild Willow Neeley of Richmond, VA; her brother Medford Smith (Claudette) of Laughlin, NV.; her sister-in-law Linda Smith of Spotsylvania, VA; and her friend Martha Dennis.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Pulliam Funeral Home - Oblong (302 E Main St, Oblong, IL 62449). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
