He was predeceased by : his wife LaRae Nethery; his parents, Stoy Ralph and Ena M. Nethery (Houser); and his siblings, Bill Nethery, Wayne Nethery, Warren Nethery, John Nethery, Wendell "Ralph" Nethery, Maryanna Eveland and Mildred Nethery.

He is survived by : his sons, Rod (Stacy Nethery), Robbie (Theresa Nethery) and Rick (Beth Nethery); his grandchildren, Jodi, Nick Beavers, Erica, Josh Hatfield, Tyler, Taylor Nethery, Stephanie, Scott Snell, Katie Turkal and Becca Nethery; and his great grandchildren, Ashyln Hatfield, Rhett Nethery, Alayna Lingafelter, Alivia Lingafelter and James Lingafelter. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
