William L. Hoisington Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William L. Hoisington of Oblong, Illinois, born in Effingham, Illinois, who passed away on October 22, 2023 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Bernard "Peely" Hoisington and Rosalia Hoisington (Quatman); and his brother-in-law Tom Maxedon. He is survived by : his brother John; his sister-in-law Vicky Hoisington of Robinson, IL; his sister Mary Jane Maxedon of Mattoon, IL; his nieces and nephews, Sean Hoisington of Carbondale, IL, Brett Maxedon (Alicia Wagnon), Micah (Matthew Fraizer) and Amanda (Brendan Aydt); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Lachlan, Rhys, Zane, Marin Fraizer, Grayson Maxedon, Maria, Conor and Luke Aydt.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy take the form of a contribution to the Oblong Sports Booster with envelopes available at the church or can be mailed to Pulliam Funeral Home P.O. Box 121 Oblong, IL 62449.
