He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Stadel and Anna Masching Stadel; his wife Sharon Bellot of Paul's Catholic Church; his son Jeff Stadel; his brothers, Robert (Toni) and Dave Stadel; and his nephew Bret Stadel.
He is survived by: his daughters, Pam Kilgus (Tom) of Forrest, IL and Julie Jacobs (Todd) of Pontiac, IL; his daughter-in-law Suzi Stadel of Tolono, IL; his grandchildren, Dayton Kilgus (Joni), Hayley Mennenga (Lowell), Josh Maubach, Alexandra Ledford (Kyle), Madison Francis (Colin), Carter Jacobs, Katie Stadel (Trent Balazi) and Jillian Stadel; his great grandchildren, Adeline, Lydia, Eli, Piper, Liam, Emmett, Cameron and Lainey; his siblings, Leo Stadel (late Mary Lou), Donnie Stadel (Marjo), Mike Stadel (Mary Jo), Rita Kodat (George), Rose Stadel (late Joe Warner) and Ruth Stadel; and his sister-in-law Judy Masching (Ray).
A rosary will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (119 E Howard St, Pontiac, IL 61764). Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary's Catholic School in Pontiac or St. Paul's Catholic School in Odell.
