He is survived by: his daughters, Pam Kilgus (Tom) of Forrest, IL and Julie Jacobs (Todd) of Pontiac, IL; his daughter-in-law Suzi Stadel of Tolono, IL; his grandchildren, Dayton Kilgus (Joni), Hayley Mennenga (Lowell), Josh Maubach, Alexandra Ledford (Kyle), Madison Francis (Colin), Carter Jacobs, Katie Stadel (Trent Balazi) and Jillian Stadel; his great grandchildren, Adeline, Lydia, Eli, Piper, Liam, Emmett, Cameron and Lainey; his siblings, Leo Stadel (late Mary Lou), Donnie Stadel (Marjo), Mike Stadel (Mary Jo), Rita Kodat (George), Rose Stadel (late Joe Warner) and Ruth Stadel; and his sister-in-law Judy Masching (Ray).
