He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Kimberly Matthiesen; his children, Jason Balmer, Christopher Torres (Ellen), Angelia Matthiesen and Timothy Matthiesen; his grandchildren, Kodi Torres, Jace Torres, Elliot Torres, Aden Torres, Jacob Wise and Lowry of Maine; his mother Nancy Matthiesen; his siblings, Dennis Matthiesen, David Matthiesen, Sharon Lindstrom-Matthiesen (Steve) and Patricia Matthiesen; his nephews, Jason, Michael, Jimmy and Dennis Jr. Matthiesen; his niece Katelyn Lindstrom; his father Kenneth Matthiesen; and his sister Donna Barnaby-Matthiesen. He was also cherished by Numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, great nieces and nephews.
