Dean Holsapple Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Dean Holsapple of Odin, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 26, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Berylie Holsapple and Ruby Holsapple; his wife Mary Louise Holsapple; his siblings, Paul Holsapple and Ethaline Duncan; his son Dale Holsapple; and his daughter-in-law Stephanie Holsapple.
He is survived by: his sons, Douglas Holsapple (Alene) of Stover, MO and Gregory Holsapple (Shaunta) of Salem, IL; and his siblings, Roger Holsapple, Darell Holsapple, Danny Holsapple, Joyce Wilmoth (Bill) and Avis Luttrell (Don). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Peaceful Valley Cemetery (206 N Merritt St, Odin, IL 62870).
Memorials may be made in Dean's honor to Peaceful Valley Cemetery in Odin and will be accepted for his family at the Irvin Macz Funeral Home 234 South Elm St. Centralia, Il 62801.
