She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Mayer (Marie) and Pahlman Mayer; and her brother Philip Mayer. She is survived by: her husband Richard Stein; her children, Keith Stein (Angela), Kenneth Stein (Katie), Karen Hill (Dean) and Kay Kaffenberger (Craig); her grandchildren, Devon, Richard Stein (Rikki), Wendy, Brianna Stein, Emma, Abbi and Tom Gatewood; her great grandchild Josephine Stein; her sister Dianne Hildreth (Frank); and her sister-in-law Geraldine Schneider.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 20th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, May 21st 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 21st 2026 at 10:00 AM at the O'Fallon United Church of Christ (206 W Adams St, O'Fallon, IL 62269).
