He was predeceased by: his father C. Howard (E. Lucille). He is survived by: his wife Susan; his children, Martha Stoffel (Patrick) of O'Fallon, Matthew Fraier (Whitney) of Chesterfield, Andrew Hursey (Elizabeth) of Memphis, Tenn, Christopher Hursey (Allison) of Scottsdale, Ariz. and Affectionately; his grandchildren, Owen, Nora Stoffel, Graham, Henry, Crosby Fraier, Andy and Laney Hursey; and his brothers, Gary Hursey (Cathy), Alan Hursey (Kathy) and James Hursey.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the O'Fallon First United Methodist Church (504 E Hwy 50, O'Fallon, IL 62269). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the O'Fallon City Cemetery (601 N Oak St, O'Fallon, IL 62269).
