He was predeceased by: his parents, Cletus Walter (Johanna) and Walter; and his former wife Sandra K. Walter. He is survived by: his children, C. Nicole Simpson (Christopher) of Swansea and Craig D. Walter of Fairview Heights; his siblings, Karen Mueller (Tom) of New Baden, Sharon Muehlhauser (Jim) of Arnold and Alan Walter (Sue) of Highland; his grandchildren, Caleb N. Simpson, Emma R. Simpson, Logan T. Walter and Easton C. Walter; and his fiancée Katherine King. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the St. Clare of Assisi Catholic Church (1411 Cross St, O'Fallon, IL 62269). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Funeral St. Clare of Assisi Catholic Church (1411 Cross St, O'Fallon, IL 62269).
Memorial donations are suggested to St. Clare Church or to The Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
