He was predeceased by: his wife Judith Collins. He is survived by: his children, Sergeant Major, Joel Collins (Lori) of Belleville, Jennifer Larrison (Jim) of Glen Ellyn, Ill and Jon Collins of O'Fallon; his grandchildren, Captain, Douglas Collins II (Elaine), Dane Collins, Dryver Larrison and Stryde Larrison; and his great grandchildren, Thea and Daisy Collins.
