He was predeceased by: his children, James E. Wottowa and Janice Reinhardt; his siblings, Lee Wottowa (Ruth), Vernon Wottowa (Dorothy), Marie Wottowa, Laura Dare and Mary Wottowa; and his grandsons, Darrel and Dwight Tweedy.
He is survived by: his wife Rose Marie; his brother John "Jack" Wottowa (Margaret "Peggy") of Belleville, IL.; his daughter Jean Sturgill of Shiloh, IL; his grandchildren, Sheila Nolan (Chad Bramblett), Brian Oeltjen (Jill), Jamie Wottowa (Stephanie Elfrink), Nick Wottowa, Ryan Tweedy (Diane) and Sarah Rose Sturgill; his great grandchildren, Logan Mueth (Kassie), Mitchell Nolan, Hunter, Zane Oeltjen, Vivian, Sam Elfrink, Olivia and James Tweedy; and his children-in-law, Diane Wottowa of Belleville, IL and Tom Reinhardt, Sr. of Belleville, IL. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to St. Peter's Cathedral or in the form of masses.
