She was predeceased by: her parents, Gertrud Marta Abé (Rhön) of Frankenheim and Reinhold Otto Wahl of Wiesbaden; and her stepmother Erika Fleck of Offenbach, Germany.. She is survived by: her husband John Edward Haupt of O'Fallon; her son Joshua Haupt of Plano; her sister Andrea (Heinz) of Saulheim; and her stepsiblings, Wolfgang Fleck (Pia) of Heidenrod-Niedermeilingen, Hansi Fleck (Hans-Jürgen) of Olbernhau, Marianne Schrauth of Holzhausen and Rosi Walke of Heusenstamm. She is also survived by four nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the donor's choice of charity.
