She was predeceased by: her daughter Karla; her parents, Peter Hart and Sylvia Hart; and her siblings, Pat Herrington (Jack), Betty Hart, S. J., Mary Hart (Tom) and Therese Herrington.
She is survived by: her husband Tom Smith; her son Kevin Smith; her daughter-in-law Emily Smith; her grandsons, Luke and Christian; and her siblings, Tom Hart (Kathy), Julie McHale and Jim Hart (Ro).
Prior to her passing, Fran asked that donations in her name or memory be gifted to the family foundation, Karla Smith Behavioral Health.
