It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Theresa Johnson of OFallon, Illinois, born in Buffalo, New York, who passed away on February 2, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Joseph Mele and Helen Mele; her sisters, Mary Pritchard, Dahlia Welch and Barbara Pruitt; and her nephew James Shaye Pruitt.

She is survived by : her children, Joseph Zahn (Julie) of O'Fallon, IL and Helen Victoria Pfender of Naples, FL; her grandchildren, Kara Elizabeth Olsen, Justin Shaye Zahn and Caitlin Rebecca Zahn; and her great grandchild Amelia Shaye Madden.
