Houston Franklin Handley Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Houston Franklin Handley of OFallon, Illinois, who passed away on May 28, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parent Johnnave Jones-Handley; his former wife Janet Ann Handley (Simpson); his stepdaughter Amy Medley (Jones); and his grandson Nicholas Kraus. He is survived by: his daughters, Dana Doerfler (Darrin) and Jill Beiter (Rick); his stepchildren, Daryl Jones (Jules) and Sheri Kraus (Guy); and his grandchildren, Ann Hertlein (Josh), Kristin Boruff (Dan), Avery Beiter, Ryan Jones (Lindsey), Danielle Nordmann (Chris), Olivia Kraus, Cameron Medley and Madeline Medley. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Lake View Funeral Home (5000 N Illinois St, Fairview Heights, IL 62208). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made to The BackStoppers to support the families of fallen heroes.
