James Otis Hertzler Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 12, 2022, at the age of 79, James Otis Hertzler (OFallon, Illinois), born in Belleville, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Otis A. Hertzler and Mildred M. Hertzler; his siblings, John Hertzler and LaDoris Mae Hertzler; and his brother-in-law Lyle "Podge" Wheatley.
He is survived by: his wife JoAnn Hertzler; his children, Jonathan Hertzler (Sherri) and Lisa Walters (Matthew) of O'Fallon, IL; his sister Norma Wheatley of O'Fallon, IL; and his grandchildren, Justin Walters, Andrew Walters, Sophie Hertzler, Clinton Hertzler and Josephine Hertzler. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The family has requested that masks be worn and social distancing be observed for the visitation and funeral service.
