He is survived by: his wife Brigid; his children, Katelyn (Cody Bernardoni), Stephanie (Matt Benway) and Kyle Sternerg; his daughter-in-law Jada; his siblings, Patricia "Patty" Sternberg and Keith Sternberg; his friend Kevin Sternberg (Marlo); his grandchildren, Colton and Caden; his parents, Ray Sternberg and Peggy Sternberg; and his aunt Sharon Kistler (Chuck). He is also survived by his cousins, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Book Hotel Wolfersberger Funeral Home (102 W Washington St, O'Fallon, IL 62269). A Mass will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 9:00 AM at the Book Hotel St. Clare of Assisi Catholic Church (1411 Cross St, O'Fallon, IL 62269). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Clare of Assisi Catholic Church (1411 Cross St, O'Fallon, IL 62269). A graveside service will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Book Hotel Holy Cross Cemetery (9409 Holy Cross Rd, Fairview Heights, IL 62208).
Memorial donations in memory of Ken are suggested to Evelyn's House, BJC Hospice, and St. Clare Church in the form of Masses.
