He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Andrew and Mary Agnes Wewer (Kissinger); and his son Larry A. Wewer. He is survived by: his children, Valerie S. Cramer of Garden City, KS, Joseph A. Wewer (Terri) of Normal, IL and Melody R. Dock (Dave) of O'Fallon, IL; his grandchildren, Katie A. Cramer, Jessica C. Wewer, Joshua A. Wewer, Kayelyn R. Wewer, Benjamin Dock and Hannah Dock; his great grandchild Jaxon; and his sister Donna Gaschler of Modoc, KS.. He is also survived by grandchildren, friends and family.
