He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Martie and Juanita Martie (Halstead); and his brother Jerry Martie. He is survived by: his wife Iris Martie; his children, Brian Martie (Lynn), Karen Harris (Kevin) and Tim Martie (Tammy); and his grandchildren, Joshua Martie, Amanda Hass, Tyler Harris, Paige Kuhlman and Brianna Walker. He is also survived by 14 great grandchildren.
