She was predeceased by: her husband Fred R. Medler; her granddaughter Valarie Jean Konieczny; her great grandchild Hayden A. Konieczny; her parents, Louis and Bessie; her siblings, Mildred Keller, Charles Pruetzel and Maudie Meier; and her nieces, Janice Mahoney and Sharon Botzman.
She is survived by: her children, Darryl F. Medler of Mound City, IL, Donna J. Greene of Rotonda West, FL, Kathleen M. VanderPluym (James) of Belleville, IL and Brian C. Medler (Mary) of Belleville, IL; her grandchildren, Ronald P. Konieczny (Bethany Williams), Russell A. Konieczny (Sara), Collin C. Greene (Hannah) and Elliot R. J. Greene (Brittany); her great grandchildren, Valarie Marie Konieczny Wade R. (Zach Rhein), Parker J. Konieczny, Kylie J. Richter, Charley R. Richter, Emerson N. Konieczny, Tinley J. Greene, Owen S. Greene, Everly R. Greene, Reagan M. Greene and Vivian J. Greene; her niece Carol Ann Weidner; her great-nephew Craig Weidner (Darla); and her sibling's children, Pat Ruhrman and Donnie Rafalowski (Susie).
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 26th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, October 27th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 27th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Kassly Mortuary Ltd. (9900 St Clair Ave, Fairview Heights, IL 62208).
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Hospice of Southern Illinois or to Collinsville Rec Club.
