He was predeceased by: his mother Mary "Dianne" Weatherford (Deets); his grandparents, George, Ruth Weatherford, Jim and Catherine Deets; his aunt Susan Deets; and his uncles, Tom Deets, Marvin Weatherford and Dennis Weatherford.
He is survived by: his father Donald Weatherford of O'Fallon, IL; his sisters, Marci Lowery (Chris) of Caseyville, IL and Meghan Brown (Eddie) of O'Fallon, IL; his nieces and nephews, Quinn, Logan, Wyatt, Josie, Tessa and Milo; his aunts and uncles, Jed Deets, Dave Deets (Rose Ann), John Deets (Michelle), Dan Deets, Jill Deets, Rick Weatherford (Rhonda) and Janette Stephens (Lindel); his close friend Samantha; and his pet Francy.
Memorial donations may be made to After the Races, an organization devoted to Rehabbing and Rehoming Thoroughbred Racehorses or to a charity of the donor's choice.
