She was predeceased by: her parents, Leotis Stapleton and Eleanora Stapleton (Weeks); her husband Robert Hogg; her son George; and her brothers, Ernie and Danny Stapleton.
She is survived by: her children, Darrell Mitchem and Robin Burgett (Hogg); her son-in-law Seth Burgett; her grandchildren, Mackenzie, Benjamin and Caleb Burgett; and her sisters, Candy Randolph and Claudia Stapleton.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made in Portia's name to the Alzheimer's Association P.O. Box 96011 Washington, DC 20090 Services for Mrs. Portia Ann Hogg will be held at Sunset Hill Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 27, 2023.
