We are sad to announce that, on March 30, 2026, at the age of 98, Rose Wottowa of OFallon, Illinois, born in Millstadt, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Edward F. Wottowa; her children, James E. Wottowa and Janice Reinhardt; her grandsons, Darrel and Dwight Tweedy; her father Joseph (Theresa); and her siblings, Sylvester Karban, Alphonse Karban, Anna Ragsdale, Armille Karban and Eleanor Karban.
She is survived by: her daughter Jean Sturgill (Jerome Oelrich) of Shiloh, IL; her grandchildren, Sheila Nolan (Chad Bramblett), Brian Oeltjen (Jill), Jamie Burnham (Misty), Nick Wottowa, Ryan Tweedy (Diane) and Sarah Rose Sturgill (Steven Belaska); her great grandchildren, Logan Mueth (Kassie), Mitchell, Hunter, Zane Oeltjen, Vivian, Sam Elfrink, Olivia, James and Emerson Tweedy; her great great grandchild Sutton Rose Mueth; and her children-in-law, Diane Wottowa of Belleville, IL and Tom Reinhardt, Sr. of Belleville, IL. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to St. Peter's Cathedral or in the form of masses.
