He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Ann Winans; his son Jeffrey Winans; his parents, Roy C. Sr. Winans and Naomi Winans; and his brother Ronald Winans.
He is survived by: his daughter Lisa Poignee (Jeff); his grandsons, Brandon and Nathan Poignee; his brother Rich Winans; his granddaughters, Mariah Johnson and Gabrielle Winans; his great grandchildren, Amyah and Kaiden Winans; and his daughter-in-law Lori Winans.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations would be appreciated to St. Clare of Assisi Catholic Church or the O'Fallon Police Department.
