He was predeceased by: his grandfathers, Ron, Larry (Joyce), Gerie (Barbara) and Art (Debbie); his parents, Anthony Sykes (Marie) and Lossie Morehead Plummer; and his brother Ed Sykes.
He is survived by: his wife Jacque Sykes; his children, Kim Schroeder (Bob) of Fairhope, AL., Keith Sykes (Chris) of Traverse City, MI., Tony Sykes (Melissa) of Traverse City, MI and Steve Panek (Julie) of Mascoutah, IL.; his grandchildren, Jordan Runner (Leslie), Justine Schroeder, Julia Schroeder, Jaylee Schroeder, Star Reiman, Evan Sykes, Kayla Giger, Kelly Sykes, Micah Panek and Zach Panek; and his sister-in-law Barbara Sykes. He is also survived by 4 loving great-grandchildren.
Memorials can be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
