Though Betty may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Bice and Ethel Bice (Sparks); her husband Ernie Brown; her son R. Glenn McClendon; and her granddaughter Kristen McClendon.
She is survived by: her daughters, Jean Johnson and Carrie Lijewski (Mark); and her sister Sarah Bierbrodt. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
