It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dale E. Chasteen Sr. of Oglesby, Illinois, who passed away on October 18, 2025, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Emal Chasteen and Hazel Chasteen (Long) of Mt. Palatine; his former wife Debra Kay; his siblings, Albert, Janette and Betty; and his mother-in-law Katherine Urbino.

He is survived by: his daughters, Diane Faull (Brian) of Oglesby and Dawn Tregoning (Scott) of Peru; his wife Debrajo Urbino; his son Dale E. Chasteen II of Granville; his grandchildren, Ashely Faull, Angell, Silas, Cheyanne Chasteen and John Tregoning; his siblings, Tom, Billy (Teri), Danny-Jo, Pam and Connie; and his close friends, Bill Jones and Nick Sell. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
