Kenneth touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Reuel Quick and Hazel Quick (Pryde); his grandson Nathan Applebee; and his brother-in-law Scottie Wilson. He is survived by: his wife Carole Mason of Oglesby; his children, Bill (Lynn) of Oglesby, Ken (Diane) of Oglesby, Dave (Kim) of Oglesby and Lori Kostellic (Eric) of Oglesby; his grandchildren, Wes (Addie), Derik (Brittany), John, Brandon, Erin, Kyle (Josie), Jordan, Jake and Zach; his sister Mary Alice Wilson of Camdenton, MO; and his brother-in-law Bill Mason (Jan Doyle) of Spring Valley. He is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the Shields Funeral Chapel (213 E Walnut St, Oglesby, IL 61348). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the same location.
