He was predeceased by: his parents, George Rieker and Mary Rieker (Piper); his wife Elinor Bill; his son-in-law Art Perra; and his grandson-in-law Brandon Hopps.
He is survived by: his children, Lonnie Rieker (Linda) of Ohio, IL, Lori Perra of Yorkville, IL, Steven Rieker (Cecilia) of Peoria, IL, Sandra Kofoed (Brad) of Earlville, IL and Sally Salegna of Bloomington, IL; his grandchildren, Laura, Brenna, Rachel Arthur, Theresa, Dia, Emily (Zach), Kristen (Alec), Matt, Amy, JoAnn and David; and his great grandchildren, Elaine and Adeline.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the American Diabetes Association.
