He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin McHarry and Edna McHarry (Melvin); and his siblings, Hueitt Jake McHarry, William "Bud" McHarry, Mary Ellen Wood and Shirley Rhodes.
He is survived by: his wife Pamela McHarry (Pfaff); his children, David E. McHarry, Jr. (Crystal), Kyle Pfaff (Miranda Rawson) and Heather Schneider (Matt); his siblings, Roy McHarry, Evelyn Rarrick, Terri Brindley and Sarah Petree; and his grandchildren, Braiden McHarry, Bentley Pfaff and Ozzy Pfaff. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Jones Funeral Home (594 Olmsted Rd, Villa Ridge, IL 62996). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
