She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilbur Beaird and Alice Gambrel-Seltzer (McKay); her daughter Margaret Elizabeth Buckels; her grandson TJ Buckels; and her siblings, Margaret Traxler, Paticia Hurst, Kenneth Gambrel, Gary Gambrel and Iris Jean Gilberg.
She is survived by: her sons, Charles Buckels of Vincennes, IN and Matthew Buckels (Joyce) of Vincennes, IN; her grandchildren, Elizabeth Buckels of Noble, Wade Buckels (Jasmine) of Gainesville, FL and Dalton Buckels of Cleveland, OH; her great grandchildren, Tristin Watkins (Alex), Desiny Buckels of Sumter, SC, Kaylee Goldman of Brownsburg, IN and Carmelita Buckels of Gainesville, FL; her great great grandchildren, Caliope Buckels and Summer Watkins of Sumter, SC; her sister Janice Smith of Waynesville, NC; and her sisters-in-law, JoAnn Gambrel and Sandra Gambrel. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Kistler-Patterson Funeral Home (205 E Elm St, Olney, IL 62450). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials can be made to the Richland Memorial Hospital Auxiliary.
