It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Christina R. Schmidt of Olney, Illinois, who passed away on April 7, 2026, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bobby Ray and Bonnie May Long (Padgett); and her sister Tara Pottorff. She is survived by: her husband Tony "Mongo" Schmidt of Olney; her children, Schuyler Schmidt (Lexy) and Molly Schmidt (Gregg); her granddaughters, Marlee and Madeline Schmidt; and her siblings, Bryan Long (Debbie) of St. Elmo and Jenny Gordon of Olney. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family is asking for memorials to be made to Humane Society of Olney or Claws and Paws.
