She was predeceased by: her parents, Geiger Springer Long and Anna Kathryn Long (Horner); her husband Richard Lee Hoskinson; her siblings, Anna Brown, Monna Lowe, Doris Zirkle, William Long, Archibald Long, David Long and Harold Zirkle; and her pet Oscar.
She is survived by: her children, Jennifer Balding (Michael) of Olney, IL, Richard Hoskinson, Jr. of Noblesville, IN and William Hoskinson of Vincennes, IN; her grandchildren, Alec Balding (Brittany) of Olney, IL and Erin of St Peters, IL; her great grandchild Lyndee; and her siblings, Madge Dempsey of Springfield, IL and Dennis Long of Poplar Bluff, MO. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM at the Kistler-Patterson Funeral Home (205 E Elm St, Olney, IL 62450). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Chatham Memorial Cemetery (10 Pheasant Run, Chatham, IL 62629).
