He is survived by: his girlfriend LaDana Abernathy (Dana); his children, Brandon, Daniel, Chelsea, Rick (Samantha), Teresa (Michael) and Brent (Jessica); his grandchildren, Deegan, Kambria, Keiton, Haylie, Zoi, Oreawna, Kimberli, Patricia, Emma, Teresa, Isaiah, Payton, Malachi, Declan, Elexis, Aleeah and Kelsey; his siblings, Bekki White (Ed) and Larry Reid (Darlene); his nieces and nephews, Michael, Levi, Stephanie, Robert, Jerrod, Meredith and Jason; and his pets, Gizmo and Gracie.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Ingram-Meridith Funeral Home (241 W Main St, Albion, IL 62806). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM at the Bone Gap Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in the name of Eddie Joe Reid can be made to the Citizens National Bank of Olney.
