It is with sadness that the passing of Eugene L. Luther of Olney, Illinois is shared. Eugene, born on January 26, 1947, passed away on September 15, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Loy Luther and Sylvia E. Luther (Rogers); his siblings, Fern Muhs and Darol Luther; his nephew Phillip Muhs; and his close friend Kelly Taylor.
He is survived by: his sister Diane Luther of Olney; his aunt Marjorie Haumesser of Casey, IL; his nephew Steve Muhs of Ohio; his nieces, Cheri Boone of Ohio, Jacqueline Ley of Texas and Lori Cadwell of Claremont; and his close friends, Dan and Bobbie Lathrop.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Kistler-Patterson Funeral Home (205 E Elm St, Olney, IL 62450). A memorial service will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
