He is survived by: his wife Randi Cowan of Olney; his sister Dixie Cocagne (Charlie); his children, Michelle Carolan (Michael Dwyer) of Dunedin, FL, John Cowan of Hermann, MO and Babbs Pitts (Eric) of Olney, IL; his stepsons, Chuck Curtis (Sandy), Brian Curtis (Diane) and Little; his brother Levi Carwile (Anna) of Shiloh, IL; his grandchildren, Cory Curtis, Claire Curtis, Makenna Curtis, Danielle Carolan, Freddie Carolan, Clayton Pitts and Ellison Pitts; and his nephews, Andy and Ed Cocagne.
Memorials can be made to Mentor Richland County or Trinity Lutheran Church in Olney.
