He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude A. Bennett and Margie Gentry Bennett Scherer; his daughter Leslie Kathryn Bennett; and his brother Phillip Bennett. He is survived by: his wife Vickie West; his sons, Lee Bennett (Dannetta Hiatt-Bennett) of Evansville and Landon Bennett of Sumner; and his siblings, Ronnie Bennett (Deanna) of Sumner, Carolyn McDonald of Olney and Gwyn Wilson (Wade) of Olney. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
