He was predeceased by: his brothers, John, Joe, Bert and Frank. He is survived by: his daughters, Sherry Berger (Fredi), LeAnn Gibson and Michelle Stevens (Rick); his grandchildren, Amy Fulk, Jeremy Berger (Holly), Grant Stevens, Elle Stevens, Olivia Stevens, Mia Stevens, Sophia Stevens and Riley Stevens; his great grandchildren, Tanner Fulk, Cody Fulk, Logan Berger, Jordan Berger and Natalie Berger; and his siblings, Dave Gibson and Ruth Travous. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kistler-Patterson Funeral Home (205 E Elm St, Olney, IL 62450). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials can be made to Carmi Children's Home or Freedom Cemetery.
