He was predeceased by: his parents, Bert Lavine and Wanda Lavine (Wise); and his brothers, Jim Lavine and Bert Lavine, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife June Lavine (Greifzu) of Olney; his siblings, Gary Lavine of Peoria, IL, Tom Lavine (Sheri) of Fairfield, Alan Lavine (Silke) of Bettendorf, IA, Betty Shearer of Moline, IL and Chris Gillard (Alan) of Mt. Erie, IL; and his sister-in-law Karen Lavine of Milan, IL. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorials in his honor may be made to the Richland County Humane Society and will be accepted at the funeral home.
